The call of God on the lives of three families began several years ago in a car ride along I-465 in Indianapolis, IN. It was a desire to love God more and to somehow bring others together who have such a longing. This calling that had been burning inside of us was turned into a vision for Encounter Church.
Encounter Church has now become a reality. Currently, we are a growing group of believers who exist to engage the culture with God’s love and truth. The culture is constantly changing but God’s love and His truth have always remained constant.
It is true that our entire lives are an act of worship to God. Our desire is to be a part of a community that lives to satisfy God in all that we do. Encounter Church is not a once-a-week gig. Being a follower of Christ requires a full-time commitment.
